The author is a very knowledgeable and a natural writer. I enjoyed his storyline, characters and dialogue. Even though I'm not familiar with biblical characters it didn't make the story difficult to follow. At first I did not know what to expect, as many books in this genre make it seem that good and evil is black and white. However, in this novel I found myself siding with the demon. I'm excited to see where the series is heading. This book overall was very entertaining and it keeps you interested until the end. I am looking forward to reading the next book.Product details

I enjoy reading about angels and demons and the wars that rage...this one had a very different perspective and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I love the shades of gray concept, since yes things are black and white, but there are shades of grey in life as well.

This is a very interesting take on the world of angels and demons. As I read, I was very unsure where the plot was leading. While Jericho's protector, Mavado, seems benign enough, I was very much questioning how a demon could be trusted.
The plot moves quickly and I found myself a little confused in several places. But overall I enjoyed reading the book and am curious where the author will take this series.
DEMON IN THE WINDOW BY J SWANN takes the battle of good and evil to a whole new level. From the beginning pages of the book I was HOOKED! The author takes the character Jericho and starts the reader out very slowly. Jericho young innocent playing war with his toys, washing up for dinner, loving his mom & BOOM, shatters that reality into a million pieces right before Jericho's and the readers eyes. This one is a MUST READ!

This novel was so incredibly unique. Jericho is essentially thrust into this world where everyone see everything the same. There is good and evil, black and white. As Jericho gets older he starts to see the grey. The entire time I was reading it I was trying to figure out who the "mysterious devil" truly was and the real identities of the other characters. The characters are all different in personality and looks but are all extremely loyal to those they care about. The relationships in the story, whether they be romantic or friendly, are a huge part of the plot. I found my self rooting for the "mysterious devil" aka Mavado. He is deemed the enemy from the beginning but slowly starts to change peoples perspectives on good and evil. The revelation at the end had me freaking out and I cannot wait for the sequel.
I highly recommend this book and suggest going into it "blind". The story will unravel itself and leave readers wanting more.
